At Longleaf Recovery, our comprehensive approach addresses both the substance use and the mental health challenges that are often at the root of addiction. Through personalized therapeutic and psychiatric services, psychoeducation, and family involvement, we guide individuals toward transformative change and successful, lifelong recovery.
At Longleaf, we take a holistic approach to treating substance use and mental health disorders. Our tailored services include symptom management, as we treat the entire individual to create the foundation for long-term change and improvement.
Addiction involves normal functions of the brain gone haywire. These functions can be resolved with treatment directed at an individual's specific needs when it is delivered by professionals who understand the underlying drivers that sustain substance use.
Drinking alcohol plays a significant role in many aspects of American society. However, it is also the most common substance involved with individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.
Substance use disorders frequently occur with various mental health conditions, exacerbating symptoms and complicating recovery. Whether it’s trauma, anxiety, depression, or other psychiatric disorders, these conditions must be addressed simultaneously with substance use disorders to support long-term recovery.
At Longleaf Recovery & Wellness, we understand every client is unique and substance use and mental health disorders impact each person differently. Through two distinct programs, Recovery for primary substance use and Wellness for primary mental health, we offer a broad array of services that are tailored to address each client’s individual needs.

Our highest level of care, known as partial hospitalization (PHP), focuses on providing care for those individuals who do not require the intensity of treatment provided at residential care, but who need more structure and frequency than what is provided in lower-level outpatient programs. Our partial hospitalization programming requires clients to be at the facility regularly, engaging in daily group therapy, weekly individual therapy, and weekly visits with medical staff.
Intensive outpatient (IOP) is designed to provide individuals with a higher frequency of treatment than standard outpatient care. With options for treatment on a 3-day or 5-day schedule, clients enrolled in our intensive outpatient programming can benefit from accessing the care they need while engaging in important daily activities such as working, spending time with loved ones, or attending school.
Once clients have achieved their recovery goals in our higher levels of care, they are then provided the opportunity to attend our once weekly outpatient group.
Longleaf Recovery & Wellness recognizes the importance of utilizing insurance when seeking treatment services. Often, determining coverage details and identifying potential out-of-pocket costs can be a challenging process. We accept most private insurance plans, including some that are not listed below. Verify your coverage with us to ensure you receive the support you need. Find out if you're covered!
Our team is dedicated to ensuring all our clients receive the highest quality treatment services.
Longleaf Recovery & Wellness is a haven for those looking for life-saving services to recover from their addiction. 10/10 would recommend our services.
Everyone at Longleaf was compassionate. I felt quite low and suffered with shame. The staff and counselors treated me with respect and kindness, tenderness and competency. This has been a life-changing experience. I am leaving with greater self-compassion and the tools I need to make healthier choices.
Never having been in any type of Recovery program, it was clear from day one that Mental Health is very important to ALL the staff. Substance abuse is addressed but it is not the main subject. The staff cares about getting to the root of the issue/trauma that caused the substance abuse.
I will be recommending this facility to any and everyone that will listen to me. I had a great experience during my time here, and I feel like my life has truly been changed. I appreciate all the staff as well as my fellow peers for this experience.
Thank you for designing and delivering a caring, professional recovery program. It was exactly what I needed. I highly recommend BRC whenever I have the opportunity.
At each of our Longleaf Recovery & Wellness facilities, we offer understanding and treatment programs for clients who are seeking help overcoming either addiction or mental health challenges. We offer tailored, supportive solutions that enable clients to develop the skills that help them succeed.
